What REALLY Matters when Applying for MedSchool

There are many important things to consider when applying for med school, and its important to know what they are so that you can prioritize your life for the next 4 years so that you increase your chances of success.

This page on the OSMAS site is a pretty good indicator of what you need!

And now to throw my 2 cents on what is the most important in order to get that interview!

  1. GPA
  2. MCAT (CARS especially)
  3. Volunteering
  4. Essay
  5. Extracurricular

With all this said and done I will have to remind you guys once again.

Your extracurriculars DONT MATTER if you don’t have a good GPA, so don’t bother overworking yourself if its going to ruin your GPA.
